"SAFE ENERGY FOR THE WORLD"
Problem
Nowadays, there are so many issues affecting the natural resources in our world, specially water and energy. For this reason, we have to look for a solution and try to solve this problem. We couldn't live without water, and energy gives us the opportunity to do many activities, but we can lose the suply of both to the current world population.
Our Methodology
We looked in the internet for some new technologies about natural energy that we can get from different enviroment elements, like water, wind and sun. We looked for information about how to get energy from the sun through solar panels and how we can use it to obtein the necessary energy that we could need.
Our Solutions
We found solutions in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, here a group of
architects are developing a new technology in buildings. These buildings are especials because, they can create their own energy through solar panles installed on each floor. They have some new important details as the fact that each floor can rotate separately so they can get all the light of the sun anytime during the day. These buildings also have wind turbines to produce energy but this time taking advantage of the wind, so energy can be used for the building and arround it.
MY WORK
I was the LEADER of this project, i liked to lead it and also i liked the work team, aswell as choosing this project so we could work on looking for a problem that is actually affecting the community. We thought about the energy issue because this is one of the biggest issues that are affecting our world and environment. The solution lies in the new buldings design, which are self sufficient to generate their own energy for the community .

Person who i look up!
Thomas Alva Edison was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio; the seventh and last child of Samuel and Nancy Edison. When Edison was seven his family moved to Port Huron, Michigan. Edison lived here until he struck out on his own at the age of sixteen. Edison had very little formal education as a child, attending school only for a few months. He was taught reading, writing, and arithmetic by his mother, but was always a very curious child and taught himself much by reading on his own. This belief in self-improvement remained throughout his life.
The most important inventions of Thomas Edison
Electricity and Lightbulb - History
Replica of original lightbulb - patent # 223,898
Thomas Edison's greatest challenge was the development of a practical incandescent, electric light. Contrary to popular belief, he didn't "invent" the lightbulb, but rather he improved upon a 50-year-old idea. In 1879, using lower current electricity, a small carbonized filament, and an improved vacuum inside the globe, he was able to produce a reliable, long-lasting source of light. The idea of electric lighting was not new, and a number of people had worked on, and even developed forms of electric lighting. But up to that time, nothing had been developed that was remotely practical for home use. Edison's eventual achievement was inventing not just an incandescent electric light, but also an electric lighting system that contained all the elements necessary to make the incandescent light practical, safe, and economical. After one and a half years of work, success was achieved when an incandescent lamp with a filament of carbonized sewing thread burned for thirteen and a half hours.
There are a couple of other interesting things about the invention of the light bulb: While most of the attention was on the discovery of the right kind of filament that would work, Edison actually had to invent a total of seven system elements that were critical to the practical application of electric lights as an alternative to the gas lights that were prevalent in that day.
These were the development of:
1. the parallel circuit,
2. a durable light bulb,
3. an improved dynamo,
4. the underground conductor network,
5. the devices for maintaining constant voltage,
6. safety fuses and insulating materials, and
7. light sockets with on-off switches.
Before Edison could make his millions, every one of these elements had to be invented and then, through careful trial and error, developed into practical, reproducible components. The first public demonstration of the Thomas Edison's incandescent lighting system was in December 1879, when the Menlo Park laboratory complex was electrically lighted. Edison spent the next several years creating the electric industry.

The New Iphone 3G
No one will have any trouble by recognizing the new device from its face. It's essentially identical to the original iPhone. Thankfully, the bright, high quality, high resolution 480 x 320 3.5-inch display that's just so easy to love, hasn't been changed a bit. Unfortunately, it's still every bit as much a magnet for smudges and fingerprints, in fact, even more so now that the rear of the device has dropped its chic matte aluminum in favor of black (or white, optional on the 16GB model) plastic. Hey, at least now it's more symmetrical.
The move to plastic seemed almost inevitable now that the iPhone has so many radios, frequencies, and antenna needs (GSM, EDGE, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS), but while we do prefer the original aluminum, the plastic does feel pretty solid and not at all flimsy, which is more than we can say for a hell of a lot of handsets. There's no doubt about the fact that we'd have preferred a matte or soft-touch finish to the glossy plastic, but that's all a matter of taste.
The body of the phone is slightly thicker at its center than its predecessor, although the edges are tapered and thinner than before, which is always a good way to make a device feel smaller than it actually is. (Palm learned this a long time ago.) There are a couple downsides to the body shape, though: first, when you're tapping off-center on a hard, flat surface, the phone wobbles (but only a little, oh well).
